Creating a token

In order to create a customer token, The customer must first use the Walley Checkout to select payment method and give consent to charge for future payments.

Creating a customer token

Walley Checkout must be set in a tokenization mode to be able to create the customer token. Please contact Walley Merchant services to configure your store id as a tokenized store.

The first payment could be zero, just to create the customer token and consent, or any other amount for an initial charge.

After the payment is complete and you get checkout information of the payment, the field data.order.customerToken contains the customer token for which you can use for future authorizations.
